When I first showed this house to my clients, they loved it. It's hard to describe, but when a house feels like "your" house, it's your house.
But because it's a seller's market, there were multiple bids. Undeterred, we put in our bid, confident that we would get it...
...and we didn't.
I was flummoxed. But this is my clients house! How can this be? What happened?
Oh, well. On to the next one, I guess.
And then, some two weeks later, the listing agent called.
The first buyers changed their mind and the sellers don't want to put it back on the MLS if they could avoid it. Too much stress, too many people in the house, the pressure to keep it show-ready, and on and on...
Is my client still interested?
Still interested?!
Did a house fall on the Wicked Witch of the West?
Is Dorothy Gale from Kansas?
Did E.T. ask to phone home?
Does Forrest Gump know how to run?
Is Darth Vader Luke Skywalker's dad?
Yes.
The answer here is YES.
So last week, we all gathered 'round the closing table and closed this house.
My clients are now homeowners...in THEIR house. ♥
