Welp, that didn't take long:
Prepped for market on Thursday.
Professional photos uploaded on Friday.
Under contract on Saturday.
For those of you who are curious about such things, here's a breakdown of how it happened:
Thursday
8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Professional staging in the morning. Meaning, determine what this house needs, pack staging supplies, travel time, unpack, begin staging home.
2:01 p.m.: Frantic call to photographer at 2:00 p.m.--we need more time! And two beds! Photographer agrees to give us until 3:30 p.m. to shoot or he's got to re-schedule for the next day.
2:05 p.m.: Delay pictures?! What the what-what?! We cannot head into the weekend without professional pictures or we will lose too much marketing time. Yeah, everything about that is no. Nope, nada, not-gonna-happen, no. We will be staged and ready to shoot by call time, even if I have to build these beds myself.
3:30 p.m.: Call time! Professional photos shot, room per room, by photographer and his $5,000 camera. Better than my i-phone. ;)
5:00 p.m.: Preliminary photos uploaded into the Multiple Listing Service (MLS); rest of the photos will be returned on Friday. Listing now LIVE on the MLS.
Friday
10:26 a.m.: Professional photos returned (they turned out great!), then uploaded into the MLS.
10:27 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.: showing time!
Saturday
12 Noon: OFFER ACCEPTED!
Congratulations to my sellers!
Here's to the start of a wonderful adventure.
With gratitude,
Miriam
